Why have California public schools chosen to go against the separation of church and state?

It doesn't matter whether Christians support gay people. If they DIDN'T teach about gay history, it would show favor to the Christians. I bet you wouldn't be complaining then? What you're really saying is "Oh dear! California is a step closer to allowing equal rights for all!"
